por su flota que intentará lograr que escape por cualquiera de las cuatro esquinas
Los atacantes buscarán capturar al Rey para ganar la batalla.
El juego tiene anuncio de jaque y jaque mate, permite la captura de fichas en forma simultánea,
jugadas de bloqueo defensivos, entre otras dificultades

Viking Chess - Hnefatalf
The strategic complexity of this game (predecessor of nowadays chess), demonstrates the abilities of the vikings of the IVth century.
Representing a sea battle: the King’s vessel is in the middle of the board, defended by his squadron,in an attempt to allow the King escaping through any of the four corners. The contrary squadron will try to capture the King and win the battle.
The game has check and checkmate; allows capturing pieces simultaneously, defenssive blocking moves, among other difficulties.
